Steven O’Leary spent his youth in New Aberdeen, an area of Glace Bay, located near the pithead of number 20 and number 26 collieries.  Over the years, he developed a steadfast pride for his home town and respect for its hardworking people.  

After graduating from high school in 1976, Steven attended Acadia University, Simon Fraser University and Dalhousie Law School. He was called to the bar in 1984 and returned home to practice law in Glace Bay and the surrounding communities.

Steven’s office is a general practice where he appears, as a trusted advocate, before the courts and many administrative tribunals. As his business grew, Steven has focused his attention more on real estate, company and commercial, administrative, estate and elder law matters.  These types of law now make up his preferred areas of practice.  Steven asserts peoples’ rights and protects their interests. He is a problem solver who has given practical and valuable advice to thousands of clients over more than three decades of practice.
